Yesterday at a picnic I discussed art with adults in a circle and recently different aspects of the art world have been revealed to me in discussions with two artists (my boyfriend’s parents). This has taught me that I have so much more to learn about the art world. I never realized how often the artist gets “screwed over.” Just as a continuation of this project for myself, I’d like to help one of the artist straighten out his studio and catalog everything. I believe that it will be a great experience to help me keep this passion alive. I think that studying pop culture has led me to forget about smaller artist.
